Well, readers, it’s been a while, but I’m back for real this time! Post-grad life has been a bit crazy, but now that I’ve found my footing, I’m ready to dive back into sharing all things gluten-free. Before we get back into the swing of things, allow me to share a small life update.

I spent the rest of my summer living in Brooklyn while commuting to The Wave Newspaper in Rockaway, Queens. During my time there, I covered local events and community happenings—and even had the opportunity to feature a gluten-free column in the paper’s weekly print edition. I covered the social hurdles of gluten-free eating, my experience tasing my first gluten-free panini, labelling issues in the United States and more. You can find this work HERE.
In December, I earned my Bachelor's degree in Journalism with a minor in Literature from SUNY Purchase.
As a requirement, I spent two semesters working on a senior thesis— a project that ultimately became the work I am most proud of in my career so far. I chose to explore the impact that digital media has had on the modern day education system, reshaping modern learning methods. This focuses on screen dependance that can be seen in young children and its impact on motor skills, which are crucial to early development.

My research put a critical lens to newfound state requirements for digital learners in elementary classrooms, and also highlighted studies conducted by the National Institute of Health examining affects in mental health and brain development. I conducted interviews with teachers, parents, students, and the U.S. Department of Education during this process.
This project was published on the SUNY Open Access Repository, and can be fund HERE.
My time at Purchase shaped me into the writer I am today and gave me the confidence to launch this website, which has since opened the door to countless opportunities.
Early last year, I was offered the opportunity to guest edit an edition of the Gluten- Free & More Magazine, a nationally recognized publication.

This January/February edition focuses on health and wellness, covering everything from osteoporosis prevention to building and maintaining a healthy routine to prioritize overall well-being.
Seeing my name in print never gets old, and I’m truly honored to have had the opportunity to work with the talented editorial staff at GF&M to help create a beautiful edition of their highly acclaimed magazine.
With this being said, I am thrilled to be in a place where I can focus on my first post-grad employment while also having the time to focus on my journalistic endeavors now that school has wrapped up (for good!).
As I look ahead, I’m excited for the future of this site and the opportunities to continue sharing and advocating for the gluten-free lifestyle. I’m eager to keep growing this platform, connecting with others in the community, and proving that living gluten-free can be made easy. Stay tuned... :)
